The Surreal Future of Walls and Dolls

 

High, impenetrable walls, I see everywhere;

from the prejudices of man’s mind contrived.

I see people with faces like plastic dolls,

feigning feelings but lacking true emotions.

They speak like wound up toys

for behind each word, there is no real thought.

 

Anger is false

but so are happiness, pain and unhappiness

--emotions triggered by a finger on a machine.

 

I see man trotting, round and round

like a dog contended but he is deceived

On his obedience, lies his happiness;

likewise, his sadness

An invisible line he has to walk for even madness

can become his lot.

Anger, hatred and fighting on the street

will be automated at someone else’s whim.

 

But man will not know that these emotions are not his own

His born thoughts and intelligence having been excavated

from his mind leaving a void that is manipulated

 

He will not miss the past for even his identity

will be obliterated from his mind by a finger on a machine

He will not remember his family or the feelings

for them once treasured

For him, the future will be a constant dream

where he plays roles written by someone else.

 

The past will be the present; the present, the future.

Our brains can be reprogrammed during sleep through manipulated dreams and suggestions by the repetition of words aka “hypnopaedia--learning while asleep”—Brave New World, Aldous Huxley.  Through this method anyone can be made to behave in ways that are not natural with their born traits and criminals can be bred. 

 

The mind-control program is already being used by governments all over the world to control citizens, especially those thought to have born ideas that are contrary to the views of politicians, the powerful and the rich.

I am a true believer of George Orwell’s future, 1984.  Some of us are already living in psychological cages (because of our born traits) where our thoughts are monitored 24-hours of the day and others will soon join us. 

 

All minds will be mapped out like a charted river to second guess anyone’s action in the world and change the direction of the thought process if it is contrary to the government’s view.

 

Pray that your children be not bred to become rapists and thieves because even a healthy mind can be destroyed to do things abominable in order for a government to cast one in bad light with the public.  “He who has the technology has the power,” I once heard in my dream.
