Last week, anti-choice leaders in Congress were forced to scrap a vote on banning abortion after 20 weeks because of a massive backlash from women.
But now opponents of abortion rights are pushing the same awful policy in state legislatures all over the country--and it’s up to us to step up again.
Thirteen states already have a 20-week abortion ban on the books--and a new wave of bans is being pushed forward in states like Ohio, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
With state legislatures in session all over the country, key votes will come fast and furious in the weeks ahead. Will you chip in to help make sure we have the resources to fight back?

Anti-choice groups have used this strategy time and again: First they pass an attack on abortion rights in a few states, then a few more, and eventually they build enough momentum to take the policy national.
We showed last week that when women speak out, we can stop the 20-week abortion ban dead in its tracks.
That’s because 7 in 10 Americans support Roe v. Wade, and even anti-choice politicians know that attacking abortion rights is a political loser.
