Pride Day Workday at the garden!

Hello everyone! I hope you can join us on Saturday May 15th @ (or
around) 9am for Pride Day! I will have a few flats of flowers and such
to beautify frog Island and I thought it would be a good day to have a
workday and talk about our hopes for the garden this year!

After the workday everyone can join the rest of the Pride Day
volunteers at the after party, which starts at noon on May 15th at
Parkridge Park. For those of you who do not know where that is, it's
one block west on Harriet from the Hamilton/Harriet intersection.
There is some parking against the park and at the Perry school as well
as in the surrounding neighborhoods. We'll have yummy food donated by
local businesses (thank you!!) and some other goodies to hand out as
well as the P.R.I.D.E. award. Also, we're looking to have a group
photo taken of everyone so be sure to stop out after you're done with
your site!

Things to brink:

refuse bags (though I am sure much refuge can go into the compost)
strong gloves (I will have disposable latex gloves available)
garbage bags (Some will be provided by Prideday organizers but if you
have extra dont hesitate)
water (It may be hot sweaty work!)
Hat/sun visor/sun screen (You want to be safe!!!!!)
