Friture on Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

Hi, I just download Friture v0.49 and I'm trying to run it on a M1 MacBook Pro with OS Sonoma 14.4.1.

Instead of running I get a popup message that says:

"friture" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

There is no option to ignore the message and open the app anyway. Do the developers know about this? Do they have any plans to update the app?
