Friture compatible Hardware?

Does anyone have USB hardware they have had good luck with using Friture?
Onboard soundcard and a couple cheap USB sound cards I have tried seem to have horrible input filtering. I'm going to try modifying one to strip the cheap too-small caps off the input but if someone has had good luck with something I'd like to hear about it.
