Hey all,

Fringes begins our 8th year this Saturday, and we're celebrating at our shabbat service by, along with our prayers, singing our respect for Pete Seeger, whose art, heart, politics, and vision so deeply inspired all this havurah stands for.

Expect a lot of singing. Yeah, that much.

And some reading, for which I'll need volunteers. Especially for our torah study, during which we'll be re-enacting parts of Pete's HUAC hearing. Anyone volunteer to play some wretched red-baiting Jew-hating congressmen?

I wouldn't all be adverse to someone bringing a birthday cake.
Just saying, that's all.
