Many congratulations on your 70th Rob, and it looks like you had a wonderful time.
We caught up with Chris Pitt and his partner Lynn Hall recently when they visited Noosa, and it was his 70th also, earlier this year :-) Great to see him after all these years.
12th ready for business looks very tidy!
Re. your comment/reply to Manon 7 August about the diary group...
It seems quite cumbersome to navigate backwards and forwards as Flickr is fairly fickle and sends you back to an earlier part if you view a photo so you have to page down again. Posting diary entries is OK if one at a time but if you are playing catch up it is not very user friendly.
However I don't know if Facebook would work much better. Would this format be possible there?
I am in 2nd year of the 365 days in colour group and it works pretty well. We just have our own sets, but post a photo every day (or in batches) to the group pool. Diary entry could be in the description of each photo.
Optional Mosaic is posted at the end of the month in the pool and in the monthly Mosaic discussion topic. It is easy to keep up as the group is fairly small, and allows plenty of interaction.
So it would be possible to have the diary group set up in a similar way. Also those who wanted to maintain their full discussion diary topic could have that option. In 365D Colour we comment every day, when we post an entry, not on every single post, but for images which appeal.
