Flair oven element

Does anyone know the PART number for the large oven element for a
Flair RCIB-645-2? Most places are requesting the part number as the
model is so old it is on micro-film or as one man called it micro-fish
(?).
I read somewhere that this part is no longer being manufactured.
Husband is threatening to haul my stove to the street if I can't find
the oven element! Love my stove even though it is old (like me). I
do have the smaller oven that is working fine, but hard to fit some
dishes in it.

Did find one place that will make a new part, but required sending
pictures and dimensions. Don't know how
that would work, as it seems they would need the part sent to them.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi CW,

Your original Frigidaire was part #7523311, later changed to
5309950926
(NLA as of 12/99).

For many years, Frigidaire had us sub the same narrower bake element,
(my #963), in both right and left ovens, and they work well, even
though they're
the little 10 inch wide ones. I've replaced the wider right oven
elements with
the narrower ones many times over the years, and they bake just fine.
I have
3 of those left here new, at $39.50 plus $10 S/H, if that's of any
help to you.

I also have just 2 of the 21 inch wide new ones left (my #961).
Pricier, at
$52.50 plus $10 S/H, but I can't tell for sure from my literature
whether that
width will fit your 645-2. I *think* it will, but you'll want to
measure your old
one to be certain.

Hope that's of some help.

God bless your 2010,

Dave,
I noticed you have the bake elements for the Frigidaire Custom Imperial Flair, model RCIB-645-2 ovens. Is this the same as the thermostats? If so, both of my mother's are out and we need them for both the small and large ovens. My mother's 88 years old and it would be to her advantage to try to make her stove last especially due to the expense of the cabinet work that's involved in replacing her existing stove.
Thanks, Carole

Most of the microfiche information is available on the computer also.
The story from Electrolux is that the parts that are available are the parts that are used in other Electrolux ranges or are generic parts.
The Flair was suppose to be the most costly range to build and support.
Check with Dayton Appliance parts in Dayton Ohioi, we have a posting for them. The flairs were built in Dayton Ohio.
Some times Mendelsons has Flair parts, they are a liquidator in Dayton Ohio.

Hi Dave - from another Dave ;-)

Put a '530 in fornt of that old number; 5309950926 was the last part#
available from Frigidaire. 'Subbed to a CH5815, which I can't find
any
more.

I've replaced them with the RP963 for many years, which I also can't
find anywhere except for the 3 left here in my warehouse. That's the
narrow one, with 2 vertical blades and 1 horizontal ground blade on
the bottom.

'Also have a couple of RP961's left here. That's the 21" wide one
with
the same blades, used in the large right oven.

Hope that's helpful.

Thanks, and God bless,

Dave, I have a shell of an oven left and wonder if you are interested in any of the internal parts.
Solinoids, caps, relays etc. I am selling them for $2 each and before the hauling away of the stove I thought you might want something from my 30" Frigidaire Flair.

Thanks, Carl
