Wasn't sure if my links posted. Guess they did! I LOVE this stove. Don't know what I would do if it ever dies, as I have no place to put a modern stove. I'm so used to having the use of  all my countertops!

Still hoping someone in the group may have Wiring Diagrams and/or parts lists for both!

Andria, now THAT is cool!  Never seen either before.

Had to laugh today. Was watching a show today on HGTV.  Probably Property Virgins.  They showed a home for sale that needed updating badly.  Yup, there was our beloved Flair.  The young guy LOVED it! And so did his wife.  Tickled me to watch him raise both oven doors at once... complete with a little, "Whooooo hoooooo!"  Love mine!!!!!! Cool to see yours!

Thanks Mark! My original message got lost in the posts, so I changed the subject line to Flair Cousin RBW-84 Stove & RBW-90-SS Oven. I did find a disconnect switch on eBay, and stove works great. Karen had asked if I would share a picture of this Flair relative. Hoping to tackle the Oven soon, and I know that also shares some of the Flair parts.

Thanks Karen,
I'd love to share pics of my stove! I've learned that the RBW series and the Flair share many parts. I still have my Mothers original receipt when she purchased the RBW - 84 stove and RBW - 90SS oven on 3/21/1957!

For those unfamiliar with this unique stove, it sits on the countertop and folds back when not in use! I love when people come over and ask where is my stove? I point to it and say right There! They can't see it and it drives them crazy asking WHERE! It has 4 burners, Speed heat and heat minder on the right section, and 2 regular burners (8" & 6") on the left. Each side folds down independently so you can easily use only 2 burners and keep counter space!

The Oven is just as unique! the RBW - 90SS has French Doors! My mother always told me she bought it for safety reasons as you don't need to lean over the open doors when lifting heavy pans in or out of the oven.
From reading up on the Flair it seems the oven also shares parts. Currently the Oven is in my garage after a loud electrical buzz a few years ago. I can't bring myself to throw it out. Someday will bring it back in!

I have posted the photos from the original manual for you and others to see these unique appliances:

Hi Andria,
I know I would LOVE to see a picture of your RBW 84!  Surely I can't be the only one. :)

Thanks,

Just a note that I had purchased this same switch from this seller a few months ago for my RBW 84 and he was wonderful to work with!

The RBW 84 was made back in the 50's and is also unique as the Flair is. It's the model where the burners fold up and out of the way when not in use. By chance might anyone have a parts list for this unit? From what I've learned many parts are interchangeable with the Flair. It has the heat minder and speed heat. I actually bought some burners from the seller on eBay and the switches for the regular burners. I'm currently looking for the glass panel from the speed heat/heat minder side of my stove.

I know this list is for the Flair, hope you don't mind my asking about it's close relative!

Robert,
There is a rail switch listed NOW on Ebay.  Item 150559416813.  The
item looks to be listed for 3 more days.
I am not affiliated with this seller.
