Conservationists, and all who love local fresh sustainable food,
We are sadden by the news of the passing of Tony Kleese on March 17th.
http://thepeoplesseed.org/tony-kleeses-obituary/
https://www.carolinafarmstewards.org/honoring-a-founding-champion-of-local-organic-agriculture/
Tony, along with others, helped write the original draft of Wake County's
Farmland Protection Plan (now, Wake County Agricultural Economic
Development Plan). He also helped with Keeping the Farm workshop years
back. He was with Earthwise Organics. Such a loss to our community.
Please keep Tony's family in your prayers.
