Trick-or-streets needs 32 volunteer hours to happen

Hi neighbors,

Thanks to those of you who signed up in support of Halloween Trick-o-streets on St Johns Place. We are excited about it too.

After talking to the planning committee, here is where things stand. 

Adding our street makes the closure more complex than usual. To run it safely we need 32 volunteer hours, about 8 volunteers on the block every hour from 5 to 9pm. 4 people at each end to handle car traffic and pedestrians. 

If we get that commitment, we can close the block between St johns pl and Underhill ave and make it a real destination for trick-or-treating.

If we do not, we will still do something for Halloween, just smaller. We will host a fun activity at the corner of St Johns and Underhill instead of closing the full street.
