Hi neighbors,

We're excited to have you with us! This Saturday (August 1st), we're getting together to make the block greener and more dog-friendly.

When: 9am-12pm
Where: Shirley Court (between Underhill & Washington)
What: Cleanup + sign making for our tree beds

Here's the plan:

9am: Quick cleanup of tree beds and sidewalk
10am: Install signs + make your own

Why signage matters:
Our young, newly planted trees have thin bark and establishing roots, so they need full "please curb your dog" signs. Established trees are more resilient, so they get a lighter "please pick up after your dog" reminder. Either way, keeping waste off the trees helps the whole block.

What to bring:

Gloves
Markers (we want signs that feel personal, not corporate)
Your dog (!)
Drills and drill bits if you have extras
We're designing signage together because this block is for everyone, dog owners included. Can't wait to see what we create.
