Thanks to everyone who responded – sounds like we’re going to have about 50 of you hooligans in attendance.

So here are the final details:

1.       Time – Dinner will be served at 7P – bar will be open at 6P

2.       Dress – Like always, the winter banquet is semi-formal. That means white shirt and khakis, and if you have a club tie, wear it (no we don’t have any spares)

3.       Location – for those of you who didn’t go to Spence’s BBQ this summer at his beach house, you’re in for a treat! We’ll be dining and partying at an amazing beach home in Normandy Park. The address is 20423 10th Place SW, Normandy Park WA 98166

4.       Transportation – This is the biggie guys – this is a drive from downtown, though our south county folks get a break for a change. The house is down a long steep drive, and has limited parking. To make sure everyone can park, and to minimize driving, everyone should plan on carpooling – with a  full car! We can set up a Starbucks rendezvous if necessary, but bottom line, please do everything possible to pool rides – this is more than a request . . .

5.       Food/Beverage – as mentioned earlier, Jocelyn Schatzer will be catering our feast – turkey, ham and the trimmings. Several have offered to bring sides and that’s encouraged. For those who don’t eat bird or pork – there will be vegetarian sides, as well as Mac & Cheese for an entrée. We’ll be providing beer, booze, mixers & soft drinks. I’m sure I don’t need to say it, but we don’t want to lose any ruggers to the pokey, so please make sure someone in each car has agreed to be the driver home.

Finally, I still need help getting tables, etc to Spencer’s on Saturday. I’m looking for someone w/ a truck, who will also be willing to take them back on Sun/Mon (I’ll be driving to Las Vegas). Please contact me off list if you can help.

I think that’s it – let me know if you have questions. See you Saturday

Duane
