Newton's Municipal Preliminary Election is scheduled, IN PERSON, Tuesday, September 12th, 2023

Voters in Ward 2 and Ward 6 Only: 

The preliminary election is to narrow the candidates for the November race for the open "Ward councilor" seat in each of these wards from three (3) to two (2) candidates. If you vote in Ward 2 or Ward 6, please participate in this election for YOUR Ward Councilor!  

EARLY VOTING (IN PERSON) is next week!

Early Voting Hours at City Hall, 1000 Commonwealth Ave, Newton, MA 02459:
Tuesday September 5, 2023: 8:30a-5:00p
Wednesday September 6, 2023: 9:00a-8:00p

If you vote by mail, please be aware that mail-in ballots have already been mailed. If you are not sure if you are signed up for mail-in voting, please vote in-person next Tuesday or Wednesday at City Hall...
