A couple of other colleagues from Friends of Liu Xiaobo will join us tomorrow at the Public Theater.  FYI.

Also, to promote the #liuxiao campaign, it will be quite helpful to get better photos from the gala and tomorrow's event (and all other media) when you can share them with us.

Busy day here.  But Yu Jieh is here, safe and sound, staying with me.  We will be there.

What's the sentence are you referring to?  We can't readily see it in the latest version of the translation.  But I'm sure if it's factual he can modify it.  Just let us know.  he said he didn't think it's Press Conf remark.

Hi Shen Tong,

Please use the attached version of Yu Jie’s remarks, which have no track changes but for the one sentence that was struck.

Best,

Sarah

Hi Shen Tong,

I’ve attached a copy of the translation of Yu Jie’s remarks. As you’ll see, we had to make one small change, removing a sentence that is actually not completely true. Can you please ask him to remove it in his original, Chinese remarks as well? Thanks!

So for tomorrow, again, the event will begin at 11:30. It would be great if you and Yu Jie could arrive no later than 11:15. We would love it if you could read Yu Jie’s remarks, and then interpret for him during the Q&A portion of the program. We are still waiting to hear if we will receive written remarks from Chen Guangcheng. If we do, can you please read those as well? If we don’t, it would be great if you could do live interpreting for him.

Please let me know if this sounds good!

Thanks so much,

Sarah
