So here is the answer, finally.
Police cars have no access to Kimbell - you're on your own.

Hi Barbara,
I remember that in your email. I assigned the complaint and concern to Sgt. Torres of the night watch. He told me that although there are barriers and fences around the Kimball if an officer engaged in a pursuit of a suspect they probably would do so on foot rather than in a vehicle given the public safety aspect of driving a vehicle across a playing field. I will continue to have officers conduct extras patrols at the park.

My original concern expressed to the Captain had to do with the installation of the traffic barriers at the old vehicle access points at Kimbell as part of the "renovation." My question was whether or not they impeded police access, i.e, do they collapse if you are pursuing a suspect, or need to drive through for security purposes?
Thank you.
Barbara

Hi Barbara,
Lt. Creed here at Park Station. I have increased the patrols as best as I can at Kimball. I have gone by myself. I hope things have improved.
How are things there for you? Please email back with your observations. I will stay on top of it as best as possible.
