Hi everyone,

Please join me at my table for Simply Living's annual luncheon, "A
Gift to Be Simple" --

Thursday, October 23, 2014: 12 pm - 1 pm
(arrive 15-30 minutes early if you'd lke for networking and community-building)

As many of you know, we are grateful for our partnership with Simply
Living and the support they provided to help bring Compassionate
Communication to Central Ohio when our organization was forming in
2005.

In addition, we have shared office space with them since 2010!

The lunch will be vegan, all vegetarian, and mostly gluten free
(except the bread and cookies) including:

* Stuffed, Roasted Fall Squash with Quinoa, Shiitake Mushrooms and greens
* Santa Maria Potato Salad with Savoy Cabbage and Lemon Vinaigrette
* Millet Polenta Bread
* Homemade Chocolate Truffle Cookies

All food is fresh and locally sourced and will be prepared on site at
The Boat House by Local Matters.

The event is free to attend and it's also Simply Living's single
biggest source of funds throughout the year, so I encourage you to
consider giving a donation to support their work in the community.

The theme of the event is Local Partnerships Building Sustainable
Communities. Simply Living is a catalyst for many kinds of partnering
in the community.

The MC will be Annie Warmke from Blue Rock Station, and one of last
year's program speakers, as well as speakers from ECDI, Columbus Film
Council, and EcoHouse Solar.
