Dear Friends of Billy’s Creek,
The Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival is an annual event coordinated by Lee County Parks & Recreation as a springboard for novices to experts to pursue kayaking, SUPing and canoeing & explore Lee County. This year, the festival is being celebrated from Thursday, Nov. 1 until Sunday, Nov. 4.
Each year, the Festival announces a partnership with a non-for-profit organization to help facilitate an enjoyable time for all. CROW has been chosen to be the signature non-profit partner for the seventh annual festival, handling ticketing for the event and also enhancing the festival’s speaker lineup and children’s activity area.
We are inviting you to reserve a table within the “Non-Profit Tent” as well as participate in the “Non-Profit Children’s Activity Area” during the course of the festival (Nov. 1 - 4). This entails providing interactive displays, games, etc. for the youth to enjoy while attending the festival. We are also inviting you to participate in the “Speaker Tent” during the course of the festival (Nov. 2 – 4). This entails providing a 30-minute presentation (Q&A included). You may bring visual aides to enhance the talk, but keep in mind that there will not be a power point option in the tent.
At your earliest convenience, please respond with your topic and accompanying visual aides? We also need to know your days of availability.
