WRIGHT WINS COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

Wright Construction Group (www.wrightg.com) was presented a Community Service Award from the city of Fort Myers for its achievements in the city’s Adopt-a-Canal Program. Over a 24-month period that began in April 2010, Wright team members volunteered to pick up trash, litter and debris along a section of Billy's Creek where the construction company had previously constructed a 56-acre filter marsh that treats runoff of excess nutrients prior to being discharged into the Caloosahatchee River. In all, employees plucked eight cubic yards of trash and debris from the urban waterway.
