Friends of Big Bone August Meeting

On Thursday, August 27th Friends of Big Bone will meet for the last time during 2015. Our meeting on August 27th is loaded with new and exciting information. Your presence would be greatly appreciated. At 7:00 Dr. Ramage will give a presentation on Morgan’s Raiders and their activities in and around Boone Co. during the Civil War. 

Meeting begins at 6:00 at the Main Branch of the Boone County Library and the program begins at 7:00.

Because we have several events in September and October, there will be no meetings. Instead please come to support the Great Outdoor Weekend- Sept. 26 at the park, the Salt Fest- Oct. 16-18, and the Ghost Walk- October 24. The board will meet in November, and in December, we hope to have the first Christmas dinner at the Tousey House on Thursday, December 3. Yes, you’ll have to pay for what you eat, but it will give us a chance to share dinner with members and enjoy some Christmas cheer.
