Primitive Skills Day - 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

If you have an interest in learning about primitive survival techniques, prehistoric skills or prehistoric technology you won’t want to miss this free opportunity. Join the park naturalist for an afternoon of prehistoric skills demonstrations, discussions and projects. After the demonstration join the recreation staff to make your very own Native American styled choker necklace (fee applies only if you decide to make a necklace). Location: Visitor Center 

Demonstration: Bow drill fire starting method (Free)
Activity: Arrowhead necklace ($7.00 each)
