E Invite Aarohi Event 2012

Dear Friends,

We are very happy to send you the e-invite for our upcoming cultural event `Spirit of the Mountains’ in January 2012. The invite is an image, which you would need to drag on to your desktop. You can then drag it back on to your web page when you mail it to your friends. It would really help if you could give us names of those to whom you have sent the invitation, so that we can avoid repeat invitations being sent from our side. This list, along with details of mobile number and email ids if available, will build up our database for future reference. The building of the database can start simultaneously, but you need not feel pressurized to do it immediately. We will also be collecting this information at the venue from individual contributors.

You can add a personalized line before the invitation to your friends and relatives to add to the `punch’.

The e-invite also serves to help people to block their dates well in advance.

We will also be posting you hard copies of the regular invitation for those whom you think may need it. For Delhi, we have a personal invitation letter signed by me, a small bookmark like invitation card and a contribution slip. For Bangalore, we have, like last year, a more detailed invitation brochure and a contribution slip. To all our friendsofaarohi group, you have this additional task of addressing the letters for Delhi, and for both cities, buying and pasting stamps on the envelopes sent and also writing addresses and posting.

Thank you so much for all that you have done and for your energy! We already have collected Rs 1 lakh from family and friends. We don’t have a very long way to go. We need all your goodwill and energy. Col Pant, over dinner last night has kindly offered to pick up the tab for lunch for guests at Sanskriti Kendra on 15 Jan.
