Dear Dr. Sushil,
It was a pleasure to see the performance by your kids yesterday. I am sorry that we were late, but what we saw gave us a flavor of the great talent in your students, and the excellent work you are doing.
I have been working with the Foundation for Excellence (FFE - www.ffe.org) for the last few years. FFE provides scholarships to academically accomplished (typically 80% in higher secondary + a good rank in the relevant entrance test) and needy (family income less than Rs. 1.2 lakhs per year) students who secure admission to engineering and medicine degree programmes. The objective of FFE’s scholarship programme is to help scholars make the transition to economic stability within a single generation. FFE has helped thousands of such individuals become qualified professionals.
We would be very happy to work with Aarohi to provide scholarships for higher education to any of your students who qualify as per our criteria. We would also appreciate it if you could help us identify any other students from the geographical areas where you work who qualify.
