Horse Poop?

Hey Folks,

Today biking down Beacon St., I encountered a whopping pile of horse
doo smack dab in the middle of the de facto bike lane. This is a
major hazard for cyclists, either by swerving into traffic or biking
through it and risking losing traction. Word on the street is that
this came from the mounted police - does anyone know the Boston PD's
policy on this sort of thing? I'm still kind of upset about this, it
just seems like such a slap in the face.
