ANC4C Meeting : Parks Agenda Item August 12

Dear Friends,

Hope you are having a wonderful summer--time seems to be flying by.  Hope you are spending lots of time at Hamilton and Upshur Parks!

Our DPR Parks Partner Agreement is up for renewal and the ANC4C will be discussing Friends of 16th Street Heights Parks group at their meeting on Wednesday August 12 at 6:30 pm at the Petworth Library.

If approved, ANC4C will sign a letter of support that will be sent to DPR which is our first step in renewing our parks partner Agreement. Please consider attending the meeting on Wednesday to lend your voice and to support our neighborhood parks. 

If you are unable to attend but would like to email a note of support please send to me maria...@gmail.com and be sure to include your name and address.

Thanks to many of you who have emailed to let us know your interest in getting more involved.  We will be setting a meeting date in September to gather and discuss future goals and priorities of the Friends of 16th Street Heights parks. Stay tuned!
