Friends of 16th Street Heights Parks Fall Clean up - Upshur Park

Upshur Park Fall Clean Up! Come one come all--and pass onto neighbors!Friends of 16th Street Heights Parks is organizing a fall clean up in partnership with DC Parks on October 24, 2015 at 9:00am-11:00am. Volunteers are needed to participate in cleaning our neighborhood park! All tools and cleaning supplies will be provided. If you would like to bring your own items please do--especially your own gloves!

If you can not volunteer on October 24th we still need your help/ideas/energy!  We continue to need Board members and committee members to help strengthen our efforts in our parks. Please contact (Maria...@gmail.com).
Friends of 16th Street Heights Parks is an all volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and developing Hamilton and Upshur Parks.  Our goals are as follows: 
Enhance and beautify the building, grounds and equipment at Hamilton and Upshur Parks;
Raise funds and enlist volunteers and community resources to strengthen our neighborhood parks
Promote programs, projects and events
Collaborate with DC Dept. of Recreation and Parks as an officially recognized Friends of the Parks group
Build community in 16th Street Heights and beyond!
