FFC Pune Last Meet

On saturday,

We FFCians got together to discuss the future plan of action...

It all zeroed down to holding a cleanliness drive in Shivraynagar
(kondhwa)...that's the right place to start...

We intend to investigate the role of PMC in clearing the garbage
there...

we will put up some posters showing the importance of cleanliness...

we are also looking for motivational speakers to aid the purpose of
driving home our point...

as always, we need all the help we can get...

http://ddws.nic.in/Strategic_communication_tsc.pdf this is perhaps one of the best link i hav cum across pertaining to campaign plannin regardin improving  cleanliness n sanitory aspects of the community .

it is more focussed on sanitory acpect thou....but it is  well programmed and organised

Look in to section 4.4 Channel analysis 5 point (Traditional media) :- its an amazing tool that can work wonders u can make use of flash cards  they r set if 6-8 cards on the front side you hav a picture and on the back side you hav things written to describe tht picture those cards can form a story which is locally relevant like in this case you can show an outbreak of sum disease in the community due to insanitory conditions like:

first flash card: can show that there lives a boy Ramu in a village(where ever u r working)

Second flash card : u can show he is very active..goes to school everyday

Third flash card: u can show tht sudenly he is dwn wid diarrhoea n fever

Fourth: they calld a doc n he said tht he is sufferin frm an infection due to contaminated water or food.

Fifth: u can show tht all villagers soon realised the imp. of hygeine...so all started keepin their drinkin water source clean frm garbage..n other filth

u can add more cards to it...u jus hav to draw it n color it nicely..one person can show it...while readin the story frm the bck..size for a card is 10 by 12 inches (card is made up of cardboard)

this wont be helpful as far as the posters go but it gives info about the various responsibilities of the govt with respect  to maintainance of cleanliness and garbage disposal goes.Just browse through it for more details.
