Website :get set go

Dear FFCians,

We are going to upload our own FFC website site and work for this will
be done by FFCians in Mumbai
So we request you all buddies to please give your suggestions, ideas,
views, writings, articles, photographs, relevant material, etc.

DELHI, PUNE and NAGPUR people please send in your photographs on this
thread.

All suggestions and ideas are most welcome.

jUST A TENTATIVE DESIGN FOR THE logo  let me know what u think about this one !!!

abt the developement ... the domainname and the web space is already take for the site!!!!
the site will be up as soon as possible.....
initial plan includes setting up the website and a forum in it....
also this is a request to all the members all over please mail me any pics /videos which u have and are not yet shared .... they would add to the collection of the website...

Shruti this side (FFC Delhi)...well i feel the second one luks better...mayb coz its bold...its havin a better impact...u know there can b one more thin...u can hav a broad C n u can incase FF in it...if u can imagin wat i m tryin to say...or even better wud b...a compressed C...n on top of it two flowing F(small case)

see i hav tried out sumthin on mspaint..its not of a very good quality...but u wud b able to view..wat i really wanna say...
its a very crude one..u wil hav to modify it a bit...no actlly a lot...

see if u like it...wat i like abt it..is the circle which encases the whole thing...which gives it an appearance of a logo...

anyways..u jus see to it...

well shruti,it is a nice idea-more logo like look.but as you said we need to work on it,maybe improving d C a little bit.n encompassing it into a circle is doing wonders.

Pratik: Nice one. I guess the direction is good. Both of these seem good, but the first seems better. I am assuming the horizontal lines will go... I think it is simple (and so superb), will turn out to be very catchy and will have great recall factor.

 

Few notes, j i c they help:

 

1. Do watch out for colors. For instance, colors used in the website will depend on what colors you finalize on. Unlikely there will be scope for totally contrasting colors. Similarly, I guess a lot of communication is "hand-made" in our case. Usually, there may be feasibility problems in being strict on the kind of background used in communications. Ditto for fonts. For instance, it will become difficult to use certain kinds of fonts - lets say trebuchet for instance - with the second sample..

 

2. Please do make a vector image, rather than raster one. I am sure you are already using photoshop or something. If you do not have access to photoshop, check out inkscape if you havent yet - its a great tool too.

 

Please let me know if any help is needed in setting up the website.

As far as the logos sent by Pratik go I feel they are really good especially the second one....its appeal lies in it being in a font as though its been written bysomeone.......

 

Ramashish -> I definately feel the colours chosen will be really important since the entire appeal of website depends on the colors used and the presentation........
