The 4th annual Open Tuning Festival takes place on Saturday June 10, 2017
from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year’s festival is bigger than ever, featuring over 120 different live musical performances at over 20 Venues across the Seaton Village neighbourhood. The schedule is almost ready, but in order to proceed
we need to raise funds right away!
We have the volunteers to power this amazing community event but we still don’t have the funds to power the
sound equipment we will be renting and that costs us more than $2,000.
To cover these – and other – expenses, we are running a new 2017 Crowdfunding Campaign. Our objective is to raise $3,000, and achieving this goal will allow us to continue to provide a unique experience for our volunteer musicians and festival-goers.
Our needs are relatively modest: if 100 people who enjoy Open Tuning
donate just $30 each, we can continue to host this increasingly popular free event. Please give what you can to help bring us back for an encore in 2017.

Open Tuning is a 100% free, independent and community-driven festival. We operate with zero corporate sponsorship or advertising and no compensation of any kind for our volunteer organizers. 100% of funds we raise go directly to pay for festival
expenses, off-setting costs for items including sound equipment rentals, poster/signage printing and our event management app that helps audiences better navigate our growing festival schedule.
