We are looking for at least 30 people to help sell 50/50 tickets at the Toronto Raptors game on Tues. Jan 26 from 5:15pm until 9pm.  All proceeds raised from these endeavors support FREE programming for youth in our community.

IMPORTANT: All volunteers must be 18 years of age to volunteer with the electronic 50/50 pilot with OLG at the Air Canada Centre. No exceptions. Each seller will be issued a float, a vest, and apron, a hand-held device and a printer. You will be required to show your government issued ID as proof of age to be allowed into the Air Canada Centre.

Location: Air Canada Centre, 40 Bay Street, Toronto, ONT M5J 2N8

Attire: You will wear a vest that identifies you as 50/50 ticket sellers. The ACC can be cold, so we suggest that you dress in layers in order to be able to regulate your body temperature as needed. Comfortable shoes are a must! No hats are to be worn unless they are Toronto Raptors branded, or MJKO charity-branded.Raptors jerseys, t-shirts etc. may be worn under the vest, but no other team-branded attire is permitted.

Food: Pizza will be provided during the 2nd intermission.

Fourth Quarter  - Watching the game live: Space permitting*, during the 4th quarter, those who wish to watch the game from the media gondola area on the 6th floor are escorted upstairs as a group by staff reps from the participating charities for that game. These staff reps will also trade back personal IDs for building passes from the 6th floor. No other group is offered the privilege of regularly watching the game live without purchasing tickets.

About MJKO: MJKO is a dynamic charitable organization which facilitates and provides extra-curricular activities to youth living in priority areas of Toronto. The goal at MJKO is to build Community Champions by getting kids moving, thinking about healthy food choices, boosting their self-esteem and helping them understand the value of volunteerism through non-contact boxing. MJKO’s programs allow youth to explore and develop their interests, giving them the confidence to pursue what they are passionate about while gaining a love for physical fitness.
