Community Activists Do you want to become a paralegal and
volunteer serving your community in Alexandra? Workers’ World Media Productions (WWMP) is
setting up Labour Community Advice, Media and Education Centre (Lamec) in
Alexandra (Gauteng)
and needs volunteers to assist in dispensing labour and social advice and
organizing support to marginalized workers and needy members of the
community. WWMP will provide extensive training in labour law and
case handling, including a certificate for those who successfully complete. Interested? Then please fax the completed application

be committed to the struggles and
aspirations of working class people; 2.
have a minimum matric certificate or
equivalent level of education; 3.
be living in Alexandra (Gauteng) or be able to travel regularly to do
duty; 4.
have reasonable organizational experience in
either trade union or community work; 5.
have experience in taking up community
members’ problems; 6.
be able and willing to do duty 2(two)
Saturdays per month (9.00am –1.00pm);
