Nature Hills Nursery Seeks Projects to Make a Greener America
Nature Hills Nursery is taking applications for its 2012 Green America Awards, for which we donate $4,500 worth of plants for four earth-friendly projects. We're looking for community groups and organizations whose projects will use our trees and shrubs to improve their neighborhoods.
Eligible are non-profit organizations that want to green their local environment in a variety of ways, whether erosion control, improving wildlife habitat, refurbishing a park or creating an orchard for a food pantry. The projects may call for any combination of trees, fruit trees, shrubs, perennials, or vegetable seeds available at
www.naturehills.com.
Applications must be received by June 17, 2012. Winners will be determined by voting for semi-finalists on the Nature Hills Nursery Facebook page.
