Dear Friends,

I can truly say that simply by keeping my Sajja and the Five Precepts, I experience everyday-nibbana; everyday-liberation.

Every day I have freedom from cravings; freedom from guilt; freedom from shame and freedom from regret... that is a lot of freedom.  So there is much to smile about on any day of the week.

Over the last 14-years of visiting Wat Thamkrabok, it has become clear to me that it is possible to get from the living hell of the Hungry Ghosts to the simple joys and sorrows of Being Human without going through more Hells!  As the Buddha pointed out, true liberation only comes from the being in Human Realm.

There is a little booklet, a work-in-progress, that I have been handing out at Hungry Ghost Retreats and to new members of the Fifth Precept Sangha in the UK at :

This booklet is due for a major update in the near future - my full-time job and time permitting - to place greater emphasis on the Sajja Vow as the first (but not last) step of this approach, so feel free to check back from time-to-time for any updates.

Best wishes and Metta to all,

Vince
