Hi Winners
Having had the pleasure to know personally a few of you who contribute here,
I'm sure there's a few of us who had exhausted our enablers and were sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Remember what a drag it was to discover our earth shaking problems were not so
unique?
I can only speak of my own experience  when I say I am grateful for recovery from a seemingly hopeless state of self pity and terminal uniqueness.
Glad I went to all those meetings. Made friends in recovery who , understood the disease , didn't co sign my B S.and showed me a way to live comfortably in my own skin.
I don't want to sound superior here and have way too much ego to let folks hear me whine.
I'll do plenty of that at a meeting tomorrow.
I simply want to connect with a few friends who are also learning that right action leads to right thinking .

Wotcha Bill,

It's good to hear from you. Your message brings immediately to mind the Buddha's own words on friendship and companionship along the path ( ...to recovery and nippana):

As he was sitting there, Ven. Ananda said to the Blessed One, "This is half of the holy life, lord: admirable friendship, admirable companionship, admirable camaraderie."

"Don't say that, Ananda. Don't say that. Admirable friendship, admirable companionship, admirable camaraderie is actually the whole of the holy life."

["Upaddha Sutta: Half (of the Holy Life)" (SN 45.2), translated from the Pali by Thanissaro Bhikkhu. Access to Insight, June 7, 2009, http://www.accesstoinsight.org/tipitaka/sn/sn45/sn45.002.than.html.]

I'm glad to share the path with you and everyone here online (and don't forget the Recovery Retreat at The Barn, next year!).

Look after yourselves.

With Metta,

Vince

Yo Vinnie
Love the synchronicity of life in the light.
Why ,even the numerology of the profound Dhammapada 327 .
What red blooded boy of the T V era can forget the cubic inch displacement
of that Chevrolet motor!
Alas , neither auto or elephant could afford me passage to Blighty or any barn more distant than the dreaded visa runs here.
South Africa this last month was an angelic offering received and after visiting Mother Africa I would be content to travel no more
Though my road guitar was beheaded while travelling at break neck sonic speeds of flight,
I am currently manifesting Dr Frankenstein and should maybe soon have some new material tracked to share with you.

Thanks to Sting celebrity Bhuddist  for the use of the word Synchronicity.
