MoMIT is going off-campus to visit American Well, an Online healthcare company.
Healthcare is a $2.3 trillion business. Online healthcare is expected to become a substantial part of this expenditure in the next years.
American Well is a startup located in Boston and Israel, and recently signed a contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield to provide online healthcare in Hawaii.
American Well was selected as one of Israel 8 most promising startups for 2009 by the leading business magazine in Israel, "The Marker" (Article in hebrew):
