Join us as we celebrate our community with food, games, prizes and entertainment for all ages. This annual event is a chance to come together as a community and share in the many accomplishments taking place in our neighbourhood.

All donations at this free event will be directed to the
Jenna Morrison Memorial Footpath. Come learn about the next steps for this community reflexology footpath and hear exciting new announcements regarding the project's funding. RSVP HERE

  • 100th Anniversary of Pauline Avenue: Sept. 14. Come celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Pauline Avenue. Join Councillor Bailão and area residents in commemorating the history of our community with a ribbon-cutting event followed by a street party.
  • Ward 18 Community BBQ: Sept 15. Please join me and members of the community for food, entertainment and games for all ages during the annual Ward 18 community BBQ. This event celebrates our community and our local organizations. RSVP here.
  • 20 Gladstone Avenue Planning Meeting: Sept 16. The 20 Gladstone Avenue development application proposes to permit the construction of a 7-storey residential condominium containing 113 residential dwelling units, 16 live/work units, and 180 below-grade vehicular parking spaces at 20-38 Gladstone Avenue.  Please join us for discussions.
  • Metrolinx Noise Wall Presentation: Sept 17. Metrolinx has held several meetings with Community Advisory Committees to discuss potential wall designs for our neighbourhood and will be presenting the designs resulting from these meetings for community feedback. See the proposed designs HERE
  • Dundas West Sidewalk Sale: Sept 21. Shop local and take advantage of the fall sales at the Dundas West Street sale (from Lansdowne and Shaw).
  • Word on the Street 2013 - Toronto LibrariesSept 22. The 24th annual The Word On The Street is on its way! Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 22nd, 2013.
  • Really Really Free Night Market - Dovercourt Park: Oct 5. Dovercourt Park Community Association is hosting a Really Really Free Night Market on October 5 from 7 - 11pm in Dovercourt Park on the evening of Nuit Blanche, Toronto’s city-wide, all-night art event. Everyone is welcome to bring items to contribute to the market and anyone can take something away.
  • Sterling Street Sale: Oct 5. A yard sale, a flea market, a bake sale and a chance to see inside the Tower Automotive building, this event has something for everyone.

Campaign urges province, feds to step up social housing funding Councillor Ana Bailao unveiled a new ad campaign Thursday asking the feds and province to close the housing funding gap. City Hires Company to Remove Graffiti
The City of Toronto has hired Goodbye Graffiti, a Toronto-based graffiti removal company, to help reduce the amount of graffiti vandalism in Toronto.(read more...)
