868 Dovercourt Road
Register On-line at aangen.com/events Dear Aangen Community,
I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful HOT summer we are having. We have been incredibly busy serving the community in many ways. I've been posting on social media for those of you who follow up on Facebook and Instagram. We now have a much bigger team so we can keep you more updated.
It is with great pride and joy that I introduce you to the newest members of our Aangen Family - Alicia - our Creative Director, Tim - our Cleaning Services Coordinator, Grace - our Bookkeeper, Craig - our Executive Assistant - WOW!!! How did that happen? Yes, 18 years of hard and happy work :) Additionally, I'm delighted that David and Michael have joined our Board - they will make wonderful contributions to our vision and growth :)
I'm pleased to share that we've now served over 50,000 meals since January to feed people experiencing homelessness. It has been and honour and privilege to be part of this incredible journey and I'm so grateful to have Constance Dykun spearhead this for Aangen. We have been able to employ over 20 people who are quite marginalized to help us make and serve these meals.
Feel free to read more here: insidetoronto.com
Additionally, we have found a couple AMAZING women to help us run McCormick Park Cafe. Please make time to go an try one of our home made samosas :)
Please join us for the Walk to Heal Hunger on October 13 and the Canada Camino on October 14-21 -- aangen.com/events/
Thank you ALWAYS for your love and support. It is because we have a community that believes in us that we can do the work we do.
