exciting news!!!!!

Hi everyone just a little update on what has been going on.
We will be back at the New York State Parks this summer and are
working on some new venues.
AND we got the letter re the grant from Suffolk County.
This will be the most exciting season ever as we are soooo far ahead
of where we have ever been.
We will be setting up a date for a meeting real soon!!!

Sounds great. I've been thinking about A Night of Music... similar to what we did the first year of the festival ... Broadway Classics... I feel like it would draw a nice crowd for a fundraising event. And-- it would be a perfect way to potentially get Marie Danvers and her husband involved if they are interested.

Thoughts?

I think thats a great idea! And if we can somehow incorporate Shakespeare into it that would be even better. Perhaps with scenes that somehow relate to the songs (Maybe a R & J scene.. followed by a west side story song).

sounds good...use the song from Kiss Me Kate (Brush up Your Shakespeare) and I love the R&J = West Side Story connection. I think it would pack them in.......my two cents...Steve
