Hi all,
There are still a few spaces remaining for the 2026 Thames River Heritage Park Docent Academy! Would you mind sharing this information on your social media accounts and beyond? The 10-week program kicks off on Thursday, February 19, 2026 and we are working towards having a full class of docents.
Full Description: Travel back in time with scholarly and engaging teachers along with other intellectually curious companions and discover the rich history of the Thames River Heritage Park. This 10-week program will meet every Thursday across sites in New London, Groton and Waterford, Connecticut. Docents can look forward to a hands-on approach from curators, directors, educators, and guides of these historic sites.
