New Blog Posts- Celebrating 25 years at the Centro Cultural Batahola Norte

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that we have new updates on the Friends of
Batahola Volunteers blog, including an interview with a teacher from
the Center and a video of a recent concert:

Our 25th anniversary celebrations will culminate tomorrow night in the
Revista Estelar performance in the National Theater of Nicaragua that
will include: folkloric dance, marimba, theater, chorus and orchestra
performances, and performances from special guests including Salvador
Cardenal, Philip Moltalban, and the Nicaraguan National Orchestra.

I will also be taking part in celebration, dancing folklore with the
adult dance class!

Hi Laura,

Great work at Batahola. Continuous blessings.

The summer immersion in Cuernavaca, Mexico went very well. It continually
shows me that there is much to be done not only in Mexico but everywhere. I
am also calling together a start-up group for the trip to Georgia for the
SOA/IFT. It'll be hard because of the plane fares. We will get a BC group
there though.

School has started here and it is good to see them all back with lots of new
faces in the class of 2012!
