Dear Dr. Teschke,
I am a volunteer pollution/health researcher based in Nelson, B.C. With the present Agent Orange situation in Ontario (see articles below), I can't help but wonder if the Forest companies in B.C. sprayed Agent Orange on the forests here. I recalled a 1990 paper that you co-authored called: 'Sources of Dioxins and Furans in British Columbia' which might shed some light on all this. Unfortunately, I can't find a full-text version of that paper anywhere on the internet. I would be extremely grateful if you might be able to email me the full text of your important paper. Any help on this would be much appreciated. All the best

Dear Friends,
The spraying of dioxin contaminated herbicides in Canada was much more common than previously suspected. What were the health consequences? As you know, from my previous letters, Type II diabetes is strongly linked to Dioxin exposure and to pesticide exposure (especially the pesticide DDT) Especially for the First Nations People wo ate much food from those contaminated forests!? Please, investigate this! Many lives are at stake. I think that Provincial Government's and the Forest industry spread Dioxin (along with many other dangerous chemicals) all over our country! Now is time to 'Pay the Piper'!
