Basically Google is working with 2 universities to make blogger based sites for SMEs. But the sites are very plain and any one us can easily do it. 

The reason I know about it is, I am one of the so called university link for this program - for MMU. 

But I think it is not so applicable for us because we are lot more techno savvy than what this program will do. However, if you are looking for 200 RM worth free adwords advertising coupon you can sign up but dont click the make my site.

What percentages of all local businesses have a web site? How long have
web designers been trying to sell the idea of having a web site to these
businesses? Over 10 years? How successful is their selling to raise the
percentage?

If this is a way to get a lot of businesses on the bandwagon, why not?

Some suggestions: can we buy in RM? I'm a bit worry about client privacy...maybe a privacy statement? (although we all know that's bullshit, but westerners do cares)

I don't want after I sent a greeting to my clients and after new year they call to f**k me because what follow the greeting is Viagra ads...

We initially put in RM but decided to open for international customers, If you prefer to pay in RM, you may pay with cheque or (better still) direct deposit and we'll issue you an invoice in RM. Can?!

About privacy, we will put up our privacy policy/data protection policy ASAP. We understand that data protection is important in our business as we are dealing with databases. We will not share or sell our customers' data, cos we hate spam and tele-marketers too :)

Accepting USD is our own decision to cater to intl market but withdrawals will be made in RM.    I can explore whether the cart can accept multiple currencies :) Is anyone here accepting multiple currencies online? Maybe can share a little?

Jenny you can configure your Paypal button to accept multiple currencies. Needs a bit of tweaking but not hard to do.
