Let's get started (and not retarded!) + a couple announcements

better! (I'm excited about it myself!) I don't even need much
preparation for it, as I got refreshed on the subject quite recently!
It's an amazing something you don't want to miss out on! (I want to
keep the topic a surprise for now.) I just need to know which weekend
more people will be able to come. If you're okay with this coming
weekend (although it's a long one), please email me immediately. Based
on the number of positive responses, I'll either do it this weekend or
the next. Venue is our house (the one in Toronto of course!!) and we
can decide on the date and time. So please email me in an orderly and
timely manner, like you all did for the very first presentation by
Nellie and me, and tell me what ur preferred date/time is. The general
category is music, but the topic covers a lot more than just that in
nature! (Ghazaleh jan this presentation may not be new to you but you
are absolutely welcome to join! You just won't have the right to answer
the questions I ask during this session! ;D)
I also have a couple ideas for future presentations, but need more time
for those. (These two future topics are: "Classical Guitar, a brief
history and introdution", and "The story of the world as we know it",
the latter of which falls under astro-physics, which I used to be very
much into when I was young!)
We also have Pooya (with "A Brief History of Western Philosophy"), and
Gol Z./Farhang (with "Hafez") in line for future presentations.
Summer's half-way through! Let's get started people! I'm happy we still
have enthusiasts keepin it coming! ;P
1. Guys if anyone is interested in taking the responsibility of these
gatherings, [probably just temporarily,] let me know. (I want someone
to see how it sucks when people are not organized!! ;) ) Seriously
though, if anyone cares enough about this initiative and wants to have
more contribution, that would be awesome. Let me know. (Then I'll
"nezaarat-e estesvaabi" you and you'll have to write an exam!! Nnah,
I'm just joking!! - [REALLY?!])
2. Must I remind you guys that if anyone is not partaking in the
meetups due to whatever reason, and the mass email is bugging them, you
can always change your e-mail settings on the group website, or ask me
to do it for you, or even unsubscribe if you wish to, which I hope you
don't! (Just a friendly reminder! Traditionally "cyber-communities"
(i.e. online communities! Nobody panic, nothing complicated!) do this
periodically out of respect for memebers, I guess! :P)
