Saturday May 21st, Wrap-Up

Hi all,
Tonight's session was extremely interesting and exciting. Wish those of
you who were away could have attended. Laleh talked a little about the
history of "psychology" in general first, and then she continued by an
extensive explanation in very scientific terms, of 5 major
psychological disorders, namely depression, masochism and self-abuse,
multiple personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and
schizophernia. Fun fact is that she expected the talk to last 30
minutes and it lasted 3 hours!! Not to overlook the many questions
which Laleh responded to very patiently and knowledgeably. Good job
Laleh and thank you very much.

Fun fact: All our "disorders" were revealed during this session, and
Sina..I mean Mahsa was found to be the one with the greatest number of
them!! ;D

Dear ISU members

It is time for our trip to HartHouse farm again. Those who
have joined us last year can tell you how much fun it was.
This beautiful, university
owned, Farm is an hour drive from the madness of downtown
but it has all
the goodness of a far trip into nature with "150 acres of
Farm, combining
the tranquility of forest and field, along with ponds,
caves and modern communal
dwellings ideal for relaxing retreats".

We will leave Toronto on Saturday morning on July 2nd and
leave the farm
on Sunday, July 3rd., before noon. For the night, there is
a building with
limited number of beds and mattresses available so bringing
your sleeping bag is recommended.

The cost will be $35 per person that includes
transportation to the
farm and back, one night stay and 3 meals. There are
limitations on the
number of people we can take so it would be on a first
come, first serve basis.

To register you need to send us an email with your name and
contact information and/or drop by our office on Wednesdays
between 3-4 pm.
Please note the sign up will not be confirmed unless the
payment is received. You can drop off the payment in our
mailbox at 21 Sussex ave.
Room 404. Don't forget to indicate "ISU HARTHOUSE FARM" on
the envelope.

Please note the deadline to sign up is June 16th.
