நாரத கான சபை என்றால் சங்கித சபை. அந்த சபையில் இருந்தோருக்கு ஸ்வாமிஜி ஒரு சபாபதி போல் இருந்தார். கோபாலகிருஷ்ண பாரதியாரின் சபாபதிக்கு வேறு தெய்வம் சமானம் ஆகுமோ என்ற பாடலும் இருந்தது. Saint Thiagaraja's "Rama nee Samanam Evaru - Who equals you Rama" is the rest.

A very talented artist will make everyone listen to him & like his performance even if his trade is alien to listeners. Sri Swamiji made music look simple is an overstatement. But He made others to enjoy it in the right way.

He was coughing now & then initially. But to my ears, that cough sounded different. Perhaps a sharp ear can make out that this cough is only from Swamji's. There is a distinct spectrum even there. Just like you know that only such & such person is calling you by name.

We can say someone sings from the nose or the throat (infact the singers behind Swamiji actually sung today only. Last 3days they were following in a low voice). But that is difficult to say of my Guru. You might ridicule me but after an afterthought, you might doubt yourself.

A mic had been removed from His place or the amplifier's mic chords had got swicthed. The voice was clear but there was a dip in volume now and then when He swayed His head..

1. எது ஆரோஹனம்? A bee sits in a lotus for sucking honey. It flies with a sound. makes a short trip. Stops. then again does it again. வண்டு "டர்" என்று தாமரை மலரை சுற்ற ஆரம்பிப்பது ஆரோஹனம்.  எது அவரோஹணம்? அந்த வண்டு அதே "டர்" என ஒரு சுற்று சுற்றி அமருவதே அவரோஹணம்.

2. ருத்ர பாராயணம் ஆனாலும் அதற்கு முன் எதை சொல்வார்கள் எனில் ஹரி: ஓம்.

3. பரமேஸ்வரனின் ஐந்து முகங்களில் இருந்தே சப்தஸ்வரங்களும் உதிக்கின்றன.

மேற்கண்ட மூன்றையும் என் குருநாதர் தியாகராஜரின் சரித்திரத்தின் பொழுது சொன்னார்கள். டர் என்று அவர் சொன்னதை குழந்தையும் ரசிக்கும். சரிகமபதநிச எப்படி சொன்னாரெனில் அது ஒரு வாத்தியத்திலிருந்து எப்படி ஒலிக்குமோ அப்படியே இருந்தது அது. மாடுலேஷன் மட்டுமல்ல அது. இப்பொழுதும் அதன் ஒலியை கேட்டால் உணரலாம். அதாவது ச என்று உச்சரிப்பதிலேயே ஒலியின் ஸ்பெக்ட்ரம் பல உண்டு. வாத்தியத்தில் வரும் நியும் தொண்டையில் இருந்து வருவதும் மாறுபடும். (This one sound surpassed every other sound today)

இந்த ஓம் என்று அவர் சொன்னதை என்னால் குறிப்பிடாமல் இருக்க முடியவில்லை. That was also different.

பகவான் என்று சொல்வது விஷ்ணுவையே குறிக்கிறது என்றவர் (அது ஒரு நீள் விளக்கம் தந்தார். மீளவும் அதன் தொடர்ச்சி சிறு சிறு சம்பவங்களிலும் தொடர்ந்தது. கதையிலுமே அப்படி வைத்தாரா என தெரியவில்லை. இருக்கலாம்), பதஞ்சலி சொல்லும் பரமாத்மாவும் பாகவதம் சொல்லும் பகவானும் உபநிஷத் சொல்லும் பிரும்மமும் ஒன்றே என பாகவதம் சொல்கிறது என்றார். பக என்பது ஆறு விஷயங்களை குறிக்கிறது. தர்மம், கீர்த்தி, ஐஸ்வர்யம், .ஞானம், சத்யம், வைராக்கியம் .... முதலியன (தவறு இருக்கலாம். கேட்ட ஞாபக அளவு?) While anyone who has one of those are called as Bhagavan truly only ONE who has all is Bhagavan - Swamiji mentioned so.

இதை தொடர்ந்து ராமனின் குணங்களை சொன்னார். அதை தனியாகத்தான் எழுத வேண்டும். அத்துணை இனிமை அதில். அவன் கௌசல்யையிடம் தான் தவம் செய்ய உள்ளுர ஆசைப்படுவதாக சொல்வது, குஹனுக்காக ஏங்குவது, சீதையை தனியெ விட்டு வந்ததற்காக ஒரு முறை கூட லஷ்மணனை கோபிக்காதது (ஸ்ரீஸ்வாமிஜி சொல்லி சொல்லி காண்பித்தார்கள். (Rama Rama all the way - ராமன் ஏன் பாரதத்தை இணைக்க மாட்டான்?), மாருதியை கட்டி கொள்வது, விபீஷணனை முடி சூட்டிய உடன் குளிக்காமலேயே கிளம்புவது (துண்டை உதறி கிளம்பினார்  என்றார்), பரதனுக்கு கஷ்டம் தருகிறோமோ என திரும்பி போகுமுன் சோதிப்பது எல்லாம் அருமையிலும் அருமை. If someone were to listen to Ramayan from Sri Swamiji, even the best subject will become second then.

Thiruvarur kshetra, Muthuswamy Dikshidar histroy (how many ragas He mentioned? The reason why Dikshidar's majority songs have always come in north indian ragas, the ones that Dikshidar had sung in British style, the speciality of His Veena, Thiruvaiyaru Kshetra Thiagaraja's greatness, Vishnu's amsa in Dharma Samvardhini, the Matru uraiththa Vinayagar, Vathaapi Ganapathi in just three kshtras of Tamilnadu - the reason how they came, the perfect rendering of Thevaram in Othuvar style (there was that drop, stop, sharp & the cuttai tone - that word "Chevian" tells all that) all were fast but with full of many many details. Others will tremble here with so many details.

Infact that Vandu part Aarohanam & Avarohanam (earlier in this mail), He even mentioned reference to Mathematics that each & everything in Lord's creation is based on specific calculation. Infact He referred to a sparrow pecking a tree not continuously doing it periodically again & after a few specks. அணுவிற்கு அணுவாய்!!! Sri Swamiji was referring to Siva's cosmic dance as everything & He again retouched it briefly without mentioning it explicitly.

The Rajaji episode wherein he publicly declares that it is not in our custom to garland other man's wife however it looks decent or peoper(where even Kalki Krishnamorrthy had nodded to garlanding MS by Rajaji) was mentioned by Swamiji to touch upon our cultural values.

Every single song was great to the ears! Perhaps Sri Swamiji had a desire to sing more of Thiagarajar's songs. Everything is top.

However Thiagarajar having darshan of Krishna just spelled what is in Swamiji's heart. It is like Mahalakshmi heading her head out when her husband meets Bali. There was such a synchronism & fluency (it is not there is no fluency missing elsewhere. It is not extra. But it seemed His heart runs faster than His voice - something like Krishna himself trying to take the rightful place of Rama).

Thigarajar story part and the Agalya episode - shall pen later, the latter in particular.

Read as Thiruvaroor Kshetra Thiagarajar's greatness (one of saptha vidanga sthalam - chennai vidangan salai became tanka salai - விடங்கன் சாலை என்பதே மருவி டங்கன் சாலை என்றும் அதுவே தங்க சாலை என்றும் மதராசில் ஆனது)
Vishnu's amsa in Dharma Samvardhini (she holds a sanku & chakra - not seen anywhere else) at thiruvaiyaru and hence there is no vishnu temple there (Swami here is panchanadheeswarar)

matru uraitha vinayagar incident also happened only at Thiruvaroor (Sri Swamiji said that Bhagavan like mail transfer sent gold from vridhachalam kamalalayam to thiruvaroor - தங்கத்தின் ஒரிஜினாலிடியை பரிசோதித்து சொன்னதால் அவர் மாற்றுரைத்த விநாயகர்).

Of the three vathapi Ganapthis in Tamilnadu, one is in Thiruvaroor. Swamiji mentioned one more sthala Tiruchenkaattankudi. While tracing this history, He even mentioned that Kings submit the best whatever they win in battle to Swami & hence even the plate that the archakas use has some specific marks.

(as said earlier, the music lovers had a feast on the Dikshidar's raga expositions)
