Google Glass

Hey friends,

As some of you know, I recently bought Google Glass and am going to pick them up this Saturday, July 6. My pickup involves a day trip to and from New York, and my appointment with Google is at 5pm. I'm planning to take a bus there, get Glass, and then take a bus home. 

Google mentioned I could bring one person with me. Would anyone like to go? I'm pretty sure you won't be able to buy Glass yourself unfortunately (I am part of a beta program), however I still think going to Google/trying Glass will be fun for both of us. A few colleagues and I have already discussed building first-to-market Glass apps, so maybe we can spend the bus rides brainstorming ideas, and you can get in on the action.

If you're interested in going, let me know! Also, if you know of fun things to do in NY on a Saturday night, I'm open to suggestions.

Cool, have fun hacking on Glass! If you're looking for dev resources, you should follow Timothy Jordan, https://plus.google.com/+TimothyJordan. He's a developer advocate on Glass. I've worked with him on other projects in the past and he's great.
