It was a fantstic ride - the first time for me, but i cant imagine it
being more perfect. Weather, wind, roads, all good. Left about 9, rode
the first 40 with a courier on a fixie, then 30 on my own and the
rest with ctc 3*+ guys. Got there at 5ish. Breakfast fry up was sweet.
Ended up doing more miles than needed to the train in the pouring
rain.

All in all, the best ride ever.

Hi

My second ride and my longest ride ever in one go, due to a little detour.

Read all about it here, with an added bonus of a review about my new bike :)

I hear that Ham.

I remember the large groups (very unusual for me), the solo sessions, the distant blinking lights, hypnotic dark straights, the bats, the lifting confirmation of nightlights in jam jars and, as Wooly will testify, (although not this year!) the best breakfast ever!

The bonus with getting the coach back was the beers back in London :)

I didn't get that this year, where always with someone, but I do
remember that from the first time I did the DunRun, and agree with Paul,
what great fun.

Hey Henrik, I did keep a look out for you but must have missed you at the start. Great write up, and a good reminder of the fun(??) to be had wherever you are in the ride.
