Jesus was a man who was completely innocent, yet offered himself as a sacrifice for the good of others, including his enemies. As a result he became the ransom of the world. He lived an exemplary life, a champion of the poor and underprivileged, willing to find himself by losing himself in the service of others. I wonder why so many people who call themselves Christians are not more like him.
