Ngày Thứ sáu 17/4/2026 seminar có Đào Trọng Toàn (hiện là sinh viên năm
4 Khoa Toán - Tin học) trình bày một đề tài trong lĩnh vực Nhóm Hình học
(Geometric Group Theory).
Thời gian: 14g tới 15g ngày Thứ sáu 17 tháng 4, Phòng F207 cơ sở Nguyễn
Văn Cừ.
Dự kiến về bài nói:
- Phần đầu được dành để giới thiệu về lĩnh vực của đề tài.
- Trình bày vài nội dung trong đề tài để người nghe ở ngoài lĩnh vực này
có thể tiếp xúc với lĩnh vực này.
- Có thể dành phần cuối để chia sẻ về quá trình làm đề tài và kinh nghiệm.

Abstract: Admissible groups belong to a particular class of graphs of
groups that admit a decomposition generalizing those of graph manifold
groups. In our recent preprint, we show that changing the gluing edge
isomorphisms does not affect the quasi-isometry type of these groups and
under mild conditions on the vertex groups, admissible groups exhibit
large-scale nonpositive curvature. In this talk, I will introduce some
basic notions in geometric group theory, and then sketch the ideas
behind the proofs of the main result. If time permits, I will also
discuss some results concerning subgroups of (extended) admissible groups.
This is a joint work with Hoang Thanh Nguyen.
