Laird and I volunteered to lead a run this Saturday morning as an outreach event for Nine Mile Run Watershed Association (and then I volunteered Garrett to help as well…).
So, put off your long run until Sunday this week, and come down and join us on either a 3 or 5 mile run around the Watershed and Frick Park (if you want to do more than this, that’s fine too). A representative from NMRWA will join us at the beginning to talk for a minute about the restoration and the watershed, and then we’ll depart on a leisurely run. Maybe we can even throw a Frisbee around, or get a soccer game going afterward.
Bring a friend, and meet at 11 AM in the parking lot, by the soccer field (Lancaster Ave entrance to the park). Let me know if you can make it!
